He is a sweet little boy that is adjusting well to his new surroundings. Winston is a little apprehensive around new people and surroundings but I am working hard on his socialization. I couldn't ask for a better pet! He is cute snuggly and has few accidents (potty training is going well!),,My friends and family just love him and he is a great addition to my family! Winston says hi to all his foster parents and wants to say he loves his new home! Thanks Genesis Animal Rescue for saving this little angel! Message From: Ann January 20, 2011 We adopted Bailey on January 7, 2011, and it seems like she's been with us forever! She is so sweet and snuggly and loves to play! She has made our home complete. Ann & Jim Message From: Linda Jennings January 12, 2011 Ripley now named Corky is doing wonderful. It's hard to believe we've had her for almost 6 years now. She is spoiled rotten just like she should be and we love her to death. Maybe I will get some pictures soon and show her off. She loves to do "no hands" to get a tummy rub. She looks like a Kangaroo and has perfect balance when setting on her hind legs. She truly brings joy to our lives. Message From: Otis November 3, 2010 Everyone at Genesis is so wonderful for all the time, effort, and energy they put into an all-volunteer program, and their desire to match the right pets with the right families is especially appreciated. We had applied for, and were accepted to adopt a dog; after about a week, we were told she was not a good fit for our family. Because we were honest in what we wanted and Jonell was true to the rescue mission it just didn’t work out and we understood. We continued to look and a few months later, we saw Otis and found out he would be at a local Meet & Great. Our first meeting with Otis went very well, luckily for us Deb and Jonell were very accommodating and stayed a little longer than scheduled; and for that we are truly grateful. We have had Otis for a little over two months and feel so lucky to have such a wonderful addition to our family. He fits into our life, enjoys many of the activities we do, and is very well mannered. We are very appreciative for the time and work his foster mom, Deb, gave while Otis was with her. Thank you! Bill, Amy, Miranda, Tristen and Otis Message From: The Bristle Family September 18, 2010 We are so happy to have the opportunity to provide Frankie the pug with his forever home. He is great with our beagle and older pug. He is so sweet and snuggly with a little silly on the side. We happened to see him at the Petsmart pet adoption event in Champaign and knew we had to make him part of our family. Four days later we were bringing him home. We are keeping the name Frankie because it seems to fit his personality. Thank you Genesis Animal Rescue for providing pets with a second chance.
