 MEET MR. MAGOO!Mr. Magoo is the sweetest, goofiest little guy, so deserving of a fun-filled family! Magoo lost his back leg after being ran over by a car while he was adventuring out on his own, looking for someone to love and care for him. His original family never came looking for him, but the lady who injured him was nice enough to bring him to our vet clinic for care. Magoo was seriously injured, requiring extensive medical care, but unfortunately our vet was unable to save the leg, so the decision was made in his best interest to remove it. After 6 weeks of strict rest and recovery, he is ready to enjoy his freedom and puppyhood again! As you can tell by his video, Magoo hasn't noticed he's missing a leg, he is still as fast as his buddies, jumps up to greet you, and absolutely loves life...he is the happiest little guy you could ever meet. Although he's lost a leg, he's gained a fabulous personality and would be suitable for almost any home ready to spoil him rotten with love, affection, and lots of playtime. He loves to play with other dogs and his new home would ideally have a canine companion for him to help expel his energy. He is crate and house trained, great with children and even kitties...just an overall fabulous pup! Mr. Magoo is an~ 9 month old Dachshund mix. Looking for a fun-loving, high energy, happy go lucky spirit of the four-legged kind, this spring? Look no further than sweet little Stewie! He puts his whole heart and soul into happiness and playtime, and would love a family or individual who carried this same attitude as well. He absolutely loves children...loves to nibble on hands though, so older children are ideal-those who can rough house and run with him. Stewie is a very energetic, busy body, who doesn't know a stranger, but would rather be playing ball or chase than cuddling on your lap. He is extremely intelligent, knows basic commands and would excel in obedience trials or even more fun-agility events!He would love an energetic canine buddy as playful as he is (he loves playtime at the dog park), and/or a very active owner to keep him busy and even give him a job to do. He is working on house training, does exceptionally well in his room all night and work hours during the day. Ideally a fenced yard with a doggie door into the house, allowing him to go out and entertain himself while you were cooking or busy doing something would be great. If his brain and energy level are expended everyday, he loves to lay down, chew on a bone and be loved at bedtime.
