Hansel & Gretel were rescued after the closing of a puppy mill, their life spent in deplorable cages with little human interaction. We are grateful to now be offering them the lap of luxury they truly deserve, but as expected it's taking some time for them to trust our intentions and this new life of freedom and affection. They have bonded together as a sense of security, but slowly are allowing their wonderfully patient foster parents to love on them, and now come running to their arms after playtime in the grass.

House training is of course a big job and work in progress, but mastering puppy pads is going very well, so we are hopeful. Along with leash walking, something they had never known, it's all coming in time because of this smart little breed. Their new home is ideally a calm, patient person/couple with experience in this type of rehabilitation. Lots of time and dedication to these two and they will become the best companions, craving affection and reward!
