Gracie has lived with her current family for just over a year and has come a long way from her previous home life as a breeding dog. Gracie is a lovebug. She is looking for a forever home full of energy with a couple or family. She is a typical German Shepherd- easily distracted by squirrels, groundhogs and geese, so a fenced yard is required. 

 

Gracie has received advanced training in obedience school and is excellent mannered on leash and in the house, plus she loves to play fetch. She is very social, loves everyone she meets, will make a great family dog or a fun, intelligent obedience trial pup with her high food drive! She definitely needs to be active and exercise her smarts as well, continued training will be required. She is crate and house trained, would prefer an owner who is home often, not left alone too much. Due to her high prey drive and food motivation, she is ideally suited for a dog companion that is her size or larger with an easy going personality, if present in her new family.
