Meet Lila!

This beautiful pup found herself abandoned and expecting puppies very soon, at only 8 months old herself! She thankfully wandered into the right hands and was given a safe, warm place to raise her 4 puppies before winter hit. Sadly due to a tragedy in her new found home, she was once again searching for a place to call her own soon after her puppies all found their forever homes.

Lila is so thankful to once again be in a safe, loving home, just waiting for an amazing family to come along and scoop her up. She is an absolute cuddle bug, just craves attention and affection, but is never demanding of it...a very mellow, reserved girl who loves everyone who will pet her, very gentle in approaching you, not at all hyper or ill mannered. Although still a puppy, she is well behaved and learning basic obedience quickly, loves playtime with other dogs and would be great with children!

She appears to be crate trained and house trained, although she does find ways out of the fenced yard if allowed a moment alone...she is so attentioned starved that she wants to be with her people whenever possible, so a fenced yard is not a necessity. She does however need a fair amount of exercise, would love to go on walks or to the dog park, etc. Lila is the perfect medium sized family dog! She looks exactly like a yellow labrador in a small body, she has all the wonderful family characteristics of the lab with less hyperactivity and smaller stature.
