Rainbow Bridge

Ash (now Duncan)
For 12 years Duncan was as loved as a dog could be. He crossed to the rainbow bridge along with a good chunk of his Mama's heart. He passed laying in his Mama's arms just as they slept every night. He was loved. Happy trails, sweet boy.

Sandy
Sweet Sandy went to Rainbow Bridge and her Mama said "I adopted Sandy from your organization in Dec. of 2005. Sandy was from hurricane Katrina. We had some hard times at first. She thought the Christmas tree was pines from La. so she would leave me a big present. It didn't smell like pine either! Sandy was the sweetest and most honest creature I've had the pleasureto know. Sandy's beautiful soul was released from her worn out body, Monday, Sept. 25 at 3:30 pm. She was surrounded with love from her humans that grieved for her passing. Though our minds know she could no longer stay with us; our hearts are broken. Sandy was a beautiful, loving creature that will always be in our memories. Thank you for the greatest gift I have ever received. You had named her Katie, but to me she was my Sandy girl! Again thank you!"

Jax
Very sad to learn today that Jax, adopted in 2009, recently crossed Rainbow Bridge. His Mama said, "He was a loving, loyal companion who wanted nothing more in life than to be next me at all times. As you can see from the picture, he had puppy-like cuteness even as an old man! It was a joy to spent the last 8 years with him and I miss him every day. Rest In Peace sweet boy."

Maxxi (Jewel)
Sweet Maxxi lived almost 8 years with her furever family before being diagnosed with cancer. Her family cherished her last few days together before letting her cross rainbow bridge. She is very loved and missed!

Lola
Lola crossed the rainbow bridge. She had been suffering from dementia for the past couple of years, and a few weeks ago her delirium led her to almost setting her house on fire. So as heartbreaking as it was, it was time. Her Dad says "I will be forever grateful to your organization for putting her and I in each other's lives. When you gave her to me I committed to remaining with her to the very end, and as of this week I have kept my word."
