Meet Jake!  His story started out a little rocky....but his circumstances in life have greatly improved and he ready for his forever family!  He and his brother were found "exploring" out in the country.  I think that their exploring got them into some trouble though, cause they were covered in ticks, scratches and bites and were a little scrawny.....so food must not have been very plentiful.  But they were found and brought to a kind person that got them some much needed vet care and got them into our hands!  Things were looking up.....but sadly did take one more bad turn.  Jake's brother - Elwood was just too sick and we couldn't save him.  Jake was so sad and grieved deeply for Elwood.

But time has gone by and with great vet care and good food and a whole lot of love Jake has thrived in his foster home.  Jake loves people more than anything else in the world.  He wriggles and wiggles and squirms and just gives kisses for as long and you let him.  He is definitely a lap dog - loves that more than toys or even other dogs.  Oh - another thing you should know about him - he could be a circus performer - he is a trapese artist without a trapese.  Or maybe he thinks he is a flying squirrel - cause he takes flying leaps off of everything  -  just launches himself in the air - then hits the ground running.  He is such a joy - guaranteed to bring a smile!    Could you be his forever home?
