Meet the "Nashville" litter!  Named after that popular new TV Show with the star character being Rayna James.  Well in our version - Rayna is played by our beautiful mama - a yellow labrador retriever , who found herself down and out and in search for food, a warm bed and a safe place to have her puppies.

Well, lucky for her she found Genesis Animal Rescue and one of our volunteers that has a weak spot for yellow labs!  So she got the comfy bed, all the puppy food she could eat and company to sit with her and wait for the new babies!  What a surprise it was when she had 13 little babies!!!!  We knew that Labs have large litters, and our vet told us she say 9-10 on the x-rays....but 13?  Wow!  There are 8 males and 5 females, all chocolate in color.

Don't miss the opportunity of adopting a puppy from this special litter.  How often when adopting from a Rescue can you get an assumed purebred puppy - that has had excellent care and socialization since birth?  These puppies have been spoiled rotten and lovingly cared for from their foster family and the community since their first minute alive.  They have been held by children and adults of all ages, been exposed to sound and situations and given the proper stimulation of their surroundings to assure that they grow into healthy well adjusted adults.

The puppies are 4 weeks old as of July 2nd and  will be spayed and neutered and ready for adoption on August 3rd!
